EVENT SPOTLIGHT: 2007 GLOBALQUERQUE (Sept 21 & 22 2007)

On September 21, 22 and 23, WorldZone 100 will recognize a great World Music event by presenting the WorldZone !Globalquerque! Weekend. For those three days, WorldZone will feature music by the artists of the 2007 !Globalquerque! Festival.


¡Globalquerque! - New Mexico's Annual Celebration of World Music and Culture, is an ambitious weeklong schedule of events spanning the entire state, culminating in a three-stage, two-day festival on Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) in Albuquerque. The weeklong celebration and festival, with educational workshops, community outreach events, foreign films, a global village and the best in world music, is both a destination event for tourists and a major entertainment and community activity for residents of the city, state and region.
